  • How do I access the site?

After arriving at Wheal Busy Smithy Building in Chacewater, with the car park on your right if you look straight ahead there is a footpath. Take this footpath, and after about a 3 minute walk, on your left you will find the gateway entrance to the site.

  • How can I support the project?

We have a wonderful team of volunteers and members assisting with the ongoing build of the project, which we welcome people from all areas to join. You can also support the project through our membership scheme, or by donating, with more info on our 'Membership' page.

  • When are you open?

During Covid-19 we do ask that site visits be arranged in advance. You can do this by using our 'Contact Us' page.

  • What is on site?

We have a variety of facilities for star gazing and deep astronomy from two purpose built domes, to a wide variety of telescopes. You can find out more on our 'Home
